Updates

Although the kids are still little, but being with them at home, sometimes I tend to forget that they are still only 6 & 4 yrs old. Many nights I would go into their bedrooms, seeing their sleeping faces, then realized, they are just little kids.

Yoshi enjoys his school. According to teacher's report card, his grade is good, but needs to work on some personal development. ^_^ Sometimes need reminder to "focus" on his task, & "talk in appropriate time" (meaning sometimes chatty with other kids). Haha.... guess he has Nori's gene (Grandma used to say Nori talks A LOT when he's little...^_^). We had few talks with Yoshi about that and he's doing much better. But like Nori said, at least he's "communicating" well with others. When I asked Yoshi who's his best friend in class, he would list out all the boys names. He said "everyone" are his best friends (maybe not so much about girls yet... ), I can tell he really enjoys school and his friends.

Kiharu.....where to begin with her?! She LOVES LOVES LOVES school, she would tell me all about her friends. She would say so and so got injured today, and she would go up and ask he/she if they are alright. She is a good friend (but sure don't mess with her though....^_^). She is NOT shy in talking with friends for sure. But whenever I go out with her meeting other moms, they would always think she is QUIET.... because she don't talk much unless she knows you well. She acts differently at home and outside. She looks forward to Yoshi coming home everyday, they play well together (of course there are fights). And I could hear my tone of voice in her many times, like when she thought it's her right to "lecture" Yoshi....

Here is a photo of the kids with our close friends, they don't see each other often, but when they do, always have a great time.

Went to a friend's birthday party, guess Kiharu thought she was ready to throw some balls.
Kiharu's best friend in school- Eva.
Lately, Yoshi has been a great eater, always get a second bowl of rice, and he has grown taller.
 As for her.......huh.....365 days, 3 meals/day.... S-L-O-W!!!!
It's been a while since we did some craft work at home. We used the empty egg carton container & google eyes... we had fun before Yoshi returned.

She added a special dot at the back of the caterpillar, she said it's the "bottom/butt". ^_^ imaginative...

Japanese Girl Festival

Today Yoshi's school got cancelled due to snow. But there were lots of homeworks to do. So we spent the whole day homeschooling. But it was good to stay home, so we have time to bake a cake for our little Kiharu.
Yoshi was helping me on part of the writing, he's very sweet to his little sis.

Who doesn't like "Surprise"?!
