Happy Halloween, trick or treat......

Thanks to cousin Chiu for the outfit, but Yoshi was a bit tall, so this little penguin kept showing his legs....

Uncle Henry came to join us trick or treat too.

Instead of getting candies from neighbours, he was more interested in checking out their garages (& forgot to get candies)

Daddy was home.....so now Uncle Henry could take a break and gave out candies instead.

Walking with daddy, finally penguin was grabbing some candies for his basket I've never carved a pumpkin before, maybe next year with Yoshi. These are neighbour's.

Nice weather tonight, so lots of people

After being out for almost an hour, little penguin was finally back home. Check out his costume, became short pants....

First thing at home- let's see the result....(did he even know those are candies?) He was just so excited with all the new things....& look, he was squatting again. After bath, he came back downstairs, and continued his "exploration"

At the end of the night, he got lots of excitement, but no candies for him to eat. Hm...what should he be next yr? Happy Halloween.

While Nori was at the bathroom doing his "business", someone outside had decided to send in a "message" written "Hurry up and play with me"......

New dishes

Thanks for Otoosan bringing back the new dishes for Yoshi, he's learning how to eat by himself. Maybe very soon, he will be able to "scoop" the rice/noodles on his own.

Best Uncle

Yoshi is lucky to have a great uncle. Not only does he has lots of good photos, a buddy to play together, but also lots of quality time together. Yoshi definitely recognizes Henry when they meet, he always welcomes him with big smile and hug on the legs. We are going to miss him a lot next year as he's going back to Hong Kong for good in December.

Last Thursday, Uncle Henry joined us at the Gymboree music playgroup. I found it more fun to watch Henry participating all the activities then Yoshi wandering around.....^_^

One of the activities in music playgroup is to have the kids speak at the microphone. Yoshi is always a bit shy, taking his time to think. But when we do that at home, he would always shout out loud "Ba Ba..."

P.s- One day, Yoshi was trying to step on his toy, I yelled out "Don't step on your toys", he looked at me, fully understood what I was trying to say. But then he went right into Uncle Henry's arms, hoping to get a sympathy "protection". Then Uncle said to him: "Don't worry, u have me 照住你 (protect u)" ^_^

He's HOME!!!!

Otoosan is home!! Otsukare!!

As soon as Yoshi saw Nori at the airport, he went straight to him, held on to his legs......

"Omiyage" (souvenir) time....^_^ Yoshi couldn't even wait for Nori to finish unpacking the suitcase, he crawled and sit in it. Maybe we should have packed him along with Nori last week.

Arigato Obaachan & Ojiichan, Yoshi will have lots of reading time with Nori. Arigato Otoosan.

(Rafael, does this look familiar to you? Yes, yes...after seeing how great you eat dinner by yourself, I forwarded your photo to Nori and asked him to find a similar bowl with handle for Yoshi. Hopefully Yoshi will be able to "scoop" the rice by himself just like you.)

Arigato Ojisan, Obasan, Nana & Yuuki for all the gifts. Yoshi was playing with this music toy the whole night, those buttons are his favorite.

This evening, me and Yoshi drove down to my friend, Sarah's house and had dinner with few others from work. Sarah and her family will be moving to Kansas City next month, we are going to miss u all. Stay in touch (or I will track u down in fb). Looking forward for your blog set up. ^_^ Take care.
