I think Yoshi could be a hairstyle model. Which one do u like best? (I think he looks like Japanese ganster on the 2nd one; and looks like North Korean president on the 3rd one...heehee) .......fyi- no hair gel on these photos, it's natural look w/ few drops of water.

Nori's friend sent us a book from Japan, which has lots of famous Japanese traditional songs. You can sing along with the music. Seems like Yoshi enjoys the karaoke entertainment.
Diaper obsession- I feel like I'm obsessed with changing Yoshi's diaper. Sometimes I wonder if I need to change that frequent, but he seems to feel uncomfortable as soon as it's wet. Can't imagine the days when there was only cloth diapers.....

Poor little Yoshi, he got 4 shots of vaccination yesterday during the two months check up. After the doctor visit, he was totally out of mood, his desperate cry for attention & pain was so loud that all me and Nori could do was to hold and comfort him. Luckily, his lovely smile is back this morning when he woke up.

After 3 months staying here, grandpa and grandma left and went bk to HK yesterday. Can't imagine how it would be without them here. Little things like taking a shower, eating breakfast, checking e-mail, writing a blog or even clipping finger nails without interruption.....I was able to do all these, just because they were here with us. Today is the first day without them, it's so quiet in the house, too strange. I think even Yoshi miss having them around. When he cried for attention, grandpa used to run to check on him, no, I should say hold him instead; or when he cried for no reason, grandma seems to always know what he wants- food, diaper change, nap.... we will sure looking forward in seeing them again in HK in Dec.
Last night Nori was trying to show Yoshi the picture book about Hong Kong, amazingly Yoshi was paying great attention.
Not only does Yoshi getting stronger and stronger on his legs, but he also being very nosy, trying to stand up higher to see what's behind us..
As you all know, Yoshi was born with lots of hair, now getting longer (I even thought of taking him with me to haircut today....). But most interesting part is his hair turns to natural curl everytime after wet... (this is a photo of him smiling in the bathtub, 5 sec before he gave us a huge "suprise" which lead to me and grandma's loud scream for help.....yes, he pooped in the bathtub....)
Lately, sometimes when Yoshi smile, we know "he's up to something" which usually follow by "immediate" diaper change..
Everytime when Yoshi is being hold, he tends to grab hold of our shirts, maybe because he knows he is getting heavy and might risk falling off from our arms...
May & Anna, check out Yoshi's new outfit, this is especially for both of u. So now, Yoshi doesn't have to choose between Mr. elephant or hippo...he got both.
Check out Yoshi's new hair style & his latest blowing bubbles talent (there are so many bubbles that I can't even count how many). Oh, also the latest unofficial weight is about 12lb 5 oz, getting heavier and heavier.....
Last Sat, we took Yoshi to a store to get his passport photo taken. Unlike in Hong Kong which people usually go to professional studio or at least like a photo booth, here we usually do it at some kind of pharmacy/grocery store. The guy there has never done infant passport photo before, so he gave his best try, and even offer to take 2 times for price of one. However, I must say those photos look like police mugshot when Yoshi was caught drunk driving..... later on, uncle Henry gave a try at home while Yoshi was in great mood, what a difference.......

I started to tape this thinking Yoshi was in great mood again....but then I guess he "suddenly" realize he was very hungry & sleepy, so his smile went down hill (funniest is he only cried out loud twice with his face turning red)......just fyi- everything you see here is actual footage, no editing in speed.
Today Yoshi met a new friend- Ethen (10 months old). Seems like they get along very well, very soon they might have more play time together...... see how both grandmas are so happy holding each of their first grandkids.
