Froggy

Every week, one of the student in Yoshi's class would get their turn to take Froggy home for a weekend. It also comes with froggy game, book, journal.... Yoshi took Froggy everywhere. At the end, the parent would write a journal about what Froggy did with the kid, which would be told by the teacher in the class. The funny part, I asked Yoshi what language does Froggy speak, he said "English". (but he was talking to it in all sorts of language though...)

Another baking day

Between three of us, we ate 10 breads for lunch, who can resist the fresh bakery smell...

Emotional drain...

Today was one of "those days".....I'm just emotional drain at the end.....

Kiharu was perfectly fine this morning, happy, loveable (yeah, did I say use that word? ^_^)... but everything went downhill when her nap time cut short with her stuffy nose. She would just be whining or crying every half an hr.... I did notice lately she has been putting her fingers into her mouth, probably her last baby teeth are erupting. Not sure if that hurts, because she ate her snacks & food without any problem.

And on top of that, every two hours, she wants to go to "bathroom", I mean sitting on the toilet training seat. She is definitely ready for potty train, even though the only thing that came out was just "gas", but at least she had the right "push". Two years ago, my parents were here in charge of Yoshi's potty training during Kiharu's birth. But I have a feeling, I'm on my own this time.

Hopefully tomorrow everyone will wake up with happy faces and happy mood (that will last for the rest of the day....). Good night, sweet dream.

Her pant...

Seriously, was there not enough toys to play with in the house other than her own pant? I have nothing to say about this little girl, she is the wild one.........^_^ (but gave us lots of laugh .... with her silliness)

Rock-paper-scissors.....song or game?

Yoshi was very into the Rock-paper-scissors game today, it's almost like singing a song instead. And I just taught him the Cantonese version. But not till today, that I wonder, what does 清斟和教叉燒包 really mean?? (can anyone tell me?) ^_^

Snow...snow....(finally)

This winter had been very warm, kids have been asking where the snow is.....Finally, they all get their wishes come true....(though it shouldn't be that much, but good enough to get a few scoop to play with).

21st century kids

21st century kids.......with their own lap tops..... (thanks Poki EE for the purple girly one ^_^)

Two little kids, with two different languages lap top...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Above the plane, Yoshi drew something that I have never seen before. He said :"Otousan driving his car".......And just now, I grabbed the actualy drawing, because me and Nori noticed the cartoon character was drinking something while driving..... Nori said it must be a coke, because that's what he did when two of them went out golfing and lunch afterwards..... I got to ask Yoshi tomorrow morning....how cute~~

Red pocket

This past Chinese New Year, for the first time, we gave Yoshi a "special" red envelope/ pocket. In the past, we would just give them, then put those back in bank. But this year, he's old enough to understand the concept, so we gave him one additional red envelope with $1 inside. He was very excited about it.

After keeping that underneath his pillow for more than 15 days, I took him to the store and pick his own toy. It was very special to him. (Kiharu didn't get her $1 red envelope, as she is still young to understand)

Golf lesson......by Yoshi

After dinner, while Yoshi & Kiharu were playing golf, I noticed the "teaching language" had switched from Cantonese to Japanese......perhaps because that's how Yoshi was being taught at the first place. (Nori, you should be very proud).
