"Finally"

Finally.....

Happiness- priceless.

My happiness~~
a) Walking into Yoshi's room first thing in the morning- his excitment to see us: priceless.

b) Yoshi's silly laugh or giggle, especially the unexpected ones.

c) Seeing how excited he is every night when Nori walks into the house.

d) Yoshi's kisses on my cheeks and lips, melted my heart (& wet my face).

e) Even though he says "mama...mama..." on different unrelated occasions, but just hearing that, automatically assume he's calling me, it doesn't matter.

Few months ago, there was still the "invisible border" to keep Yoshi from crawling into the kitchen. Now, Yoshi realizes there are more fun things to be discovered in the closed kitchen cabinets instead. I know as parents, we should encourage kids for new discovery, but it's beyond my tolerance & safety precautions. So we got to put our defence tools up except the oven drawer, so at least there are little things to satisfy his huge curiousity.

Emergency call

Last night phone call to the police station:

Police Station (PS): "this is 911, what's the matter?"

Mama: "OH NO!!! My son, my son....he..........he......attacked Mr. Giraffe"

PS: "So what's the address?"

Mama: "at our kitchen, he was sitting on the highchair, while I was cooking"

PS: "Any witness?"

Mama: "No. I saw him reading the book, while chewing something......(turns out to be Mr. Giraffe's ears)"

PS: "Ok, don't panic. We will send an ambulance right away"

KK & PP (grandparents)- Our house is so quiet after u left this morning. 3 weeks have gone by so quick. Suddenly me and Yoshi are left home alone again.....we definitely miss the fun time with u both. We can't wait to see u again soon. I got to ask u- was it because u were watching Yoshi these few wks, that I didn't pay much attention...seems like he is crawling MUCH faster after u left.......

Again, again, & again...

Now DJ Yoshi has mastered his music skills. Instead of the turn table, he did his music remix by pressing the magic button with his middle finger (please excuse us...) Somehow, he has his favorite song in mind, so the remix version is more of the same song being repeated again, and again.....

For the first time Yoshi walked onto the grass bare foot, seems like he doesn't like the scratchy feeling...haha...

Yoshi: "Mama, you haven't update the blog for a while..."
Mama: "Yeah I know, I'm busy..I got to finish painting the dinning room before grandparents leave next week. Otherwise, I won't be able to do this later on, since u are crawling around, right? little monkey..."

Beep beep..

Ojii-chan & Obaa-chan, thanks again for the birthday gift, Yoshi really enjoys pushing (& to be pushed) the little truck. I have wanted to tape his move so many times, but seems like he saved his suprise/funny moves when camera is off. Anyway, he is able to open the little side door to take the blocks out. Also, he is now pushing himself up, holding the bar. For very few times, we caught him walking behind it without any help for few seconds, amazing what he can do little by little. Thanks again.

Birthday gift

Nori's birthday gift from mama & Yoshi this year- tickets to see Nascar racing. Thanks to grandparent babysitting Yoshi, we were able to go away for an evening. The original plan was to have Nori followed the GPS navigation to the suprised destination- speedway track (which he thought was restaurant)...but 5 mins after leaving the house, my GPS was out of battery...AH!!! so I have to reveal the secret much sooner (since only Nori knew how to get there) We've been to the racing before, and I always find it very interesting....well...sort of "people watching", v.s. Nori was more into watching those cars zoom by for 200 laps...I think I was day dreaming between 16th laps to 189laps.... On the other hand, seems like Yoshi had a great time with grandparents too, they even watched the same race on TV while playing toy cars at home. (Thanks grandpa/ma..)
