It's been a month....

"You haven't update the blog yet?!"........ this is what Nori said to me every other nights...  I still remember when I first started writing this blog, I would be carrying camera everywhere I went, from the moment of Yoshi's birth, his first bath, first word, first step, first tooth..... I was always thinking, what I should update on blog.

Recently, there are so much going on, that totally distract me from the blog. I cannot believe this month had went by so fast... it will only get faster with the holidays around the corner.

Yoshi had a fever last week, so he was at home for a few days. Now, he's healthy and ready to go back to school. He loves school and friends. Now that I have two mornings per week alone (while Kiharu in preschool), I got to volunteer more often in Yoshi's class. I enjoy every opportunity to be there. The best part, he enjoys even more when I'm in there, perhaps making him feel very special. I love this sweet little boy....xoxo.

Kiharu loves being in her own preschool too. She was so proud to show Yoshi last week when he came along during drop off/ pick up. Everytime when she returns from school, she would ask me to sit down and give me a presentation of all her artwork that came back home. Although she is only 3 yrs old, but I don't think she has any problem communicating with her friends. Sometimes she amazes me how much English she can speak...

Few weeks ago, her school had a field trip to pumpkin farm. 3 years ago, I was at the same farm for Yoshi's preschool field trip, Kiharu was in the baby stroller. Now, she was picking up her own pumpkin...

During my "alone time", I enjoy volunteering at both kids' classrooms. I was at Kiharu's one day, got a chance to read stories to them. Her class has 11 kids, only 3 girls..
This is Kiharu's best friend in class, her name is Eva. It's really cute seeing Kiharu having her own friends from school. They always talk about each other at home. We did a park playdate last week.
Here was a photo of Yoshi with his friends from Japanese school.
I cannot believe the kids have grown up so much....xoxo.

as much as i like to volunteer at the kids' schools (though i don't have much chance), i have to remind you to set aside some real "alone" time for yourself! at least once in every two weeks, pls go shopping or do manicure/spa or watch a movie or even just go have a nice coffee and recharge yourself for more quality parenting moments!

btw, happy to see the kids' smiling faces. :)

Hey Amy, thank you so much for your reminder. Yes, I'm so engage in my kids' life, I have not yet learn how to put myself in priority sometimes. Thanks for your support. This is a good reminder & encouragement. I shall let you know when I did my big "break thru". At least, this week I'm meeting friends for "hot coca" time while she is in school, maybe that's my little step. ^_^
