Scare of thunderstorm?

This afternoon, the weather had turned very quick from sunny to dark sky. Luckily we were back home already. As soon as the thunderstorm started rumbling, Yoshi immediately seeked for shelter....(it was very recent that he started to show fear of thunderstorm storm....I guess who doesn't. Even I have been here this long, each thunderstorm got me very worry.)
(So photographer mama thought of the blog opportunity....^_^)
(Yoshi's reaction below was NOT staged at all. It's 100% real panic!! And once again, I became a "tree" for the scaring koala.....continue from last night haircut panic) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Mackie family, thanks for this finger puppet gift. I opened this tonight while waiting for Nori to come home. Yoshi was VERY interested with these and had so much fun. We were doing role play game. ^_^ Will continue tomorrow....THANK YOU!! (Amy, u are always very thoughtful...)

Randomness

"Randomness"- this is a new word to me too...heard of random, but not randomness..... oh well.

Here are few things that happened during the weekend, just happened to have the camera nearby (u must think I always wear the camera on my neck....^_^)

Saturday afternoon, I was at the kitchen when I heard Yoshi crying for help (similar sound)....and this was what I saw-----
(don't know how he got underneathe Mr. bear, but he must be bored. And somehow he couldn't get out, and was trapped by Mr. Bear's legs.....I should have taught him Mr. Bear is not always as sweet as teddy bear....)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Normally Yoshi don't care much about the cabinet area where I kept our snacks. But this day, he must have recognized the new bag of cookie that I just bought for him. So he was determined to reach inside (with force)
(after I called out his name, he immediately shut the door, almost as if he got caught by the police)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday evening, Nori returned from golf outing. And decided to go and cut grass in our yard while weather was still cool and sun was still out. Our yard almost become a rice field after few weeks of not being cut.... And Yoshi of course missed Nori so much that even being outside, he had to be right next to him, doing just like what daddy did. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's about time to give Yoshi a hair cut. So after dinner, barber Nori was ready for his new challenge.

Happy Monday everyone.....

Koniichiwa

Yesterday we met up with few Japanese friends to have picnic and playdate at the water playground. It was a very nice day. After a long week of Cantonese channel, it's time to listen to some Japanese again. Can't believe this summer has gone by so fast, I really want to take Yoshi out to enjoy as much as we can. But it's not easy to take him out, he's at the stage when he wanted to do his own thing. He doesn't hold my hand that much, I mean following my lead, so I always have to watch his every move, especially in such an open area- park, I have to keep my full attention to him constantly. It's great to see him enjoying so much, being so happy. But I do find myself exhausting afterwards. I'm sure every mom feels the same way too. We did have a great time with everyone. Hope summer will stay much longer.......

Normally Yoshi would not want to come down/up the slide, he is very cautious. But this day, he had a brave move, following Kaito-kun up the slide. It's not something I want him to do either. So the only way I can stop him was to tell Kaito-kun to go to his mom, then Yoshi would follow the big buddy...

After a while in the kiddie area, Yoshi was curious with the older kids area....so he was wondering, "how can I go over there?".............................

Yoshi's way..............

See Yoshi's reaction at the back...he was laughing...but I'm not sure what he was thinking at that moment....?!?!

Tomo-kun, he is such a cute and handsome kid. I love taking photos of him. During our picnic, I was AMAZED by his eating skill, he was eating cherry and spliting out the seed on his own. I was really suprised, because I can't even do that myself....thought it's funny to share this....haha.

Hip hop dancing

Besides music, Yoshi loves dancing too. Everytime when TV has dancing program (competition), he would pull my hands to dance with him. Here are few of his latest moves, but he will need a lot more practices......(the funny part came at the 2nd half when he was trying to copy few head moves....)

New toys

After all the trip excitment and having visitors around, now that we are back to normal routine, it's not easy to spend 12 hrs a day alone with Yoshi. We haven't been out the house for 2 days, just trying to catch up with all the houseworks and laundry (7 loads already, I better check the washer & dryer warranty). But Thanks to everyone for their gifts from the trip, there are things to keep the little Yoshi entertained....

Rafael, thank you for the puzzle, Yoshi enjoys putting those together. did u have the same one too?
And of course once I walked away, and leave him alone trying to figure out the puzzle...this was his reaction...... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
William & Bess, thank you for the huge gift, this is probably the biggest toy Yoshi got in his playarea right now. It keeps him entertain for a long time. And when your sis was putting this together, she INSTANTLY became Yoshi's best friend.
And compare to the mini parking lot toy I got few months ago from garage sale, the new toy is like an international airport. And the old one will soon be shutting down for business..... Thank you again everyone.

Master Sandy Gallery

One of the best gift from Auntie Sandy during this trip were the 382 photos she downloaded onto my computer before she left. Her new camera toy is definitely well worth for this trip. Although it's heavy and huge (which is something I can't add onto my diaper bag load anymore), but the quality of the photos is priceless. Thank you Master Sandy (& Assistant Winnie). U have created a wonderful memory to our summer 09.

I was thinking to add captions to the photos, but after looking at these again, I think Master Sandy had captured the moments in the photos already, no need for more words.
