Poor Little Yoshi........
The incident happened like this:
Tonight we were at the mall. Nori & Uncle Henry were outside a store with Yoshi while I was shopping. Suddenly, Henry ran in and said "Yoshi just vomited!", so I immediately left and checked on him. Poor guy had his clothes dirty, seems not so sure what happened, so we took him into bathroom and clean up. Of course this happened on one of those day when I don't have any back up clothes for him, so Nori had to run into a kids clothing store and got new outfits for Yoshi. After a few mins, he vomited again (left over of the chicken congee....). We did call the doctor, but were adviced to let him sleep and observed till tomorrow. We knew Yoshi was probably fine after vomiting since his smile came back, no fever...........long story short, we figured out what happened was probably because right after he ate, we went out. I was holding him the entire time in the mall, and perhaps that shaked his stomach a bit and got upset....... It's now 11p.m. and he was asleep. This is definitely the first challenge for me and Nori having a sick baby. Although it's minor, but it did remind us how fragile a baby is and how much he needs us. Can't wait to see his big big smile tomorrow morning, we shall give him extra hugs & xoxoxo.....
Here are just few extra funny thing during this new experience:
1) Poor Uncle Henry, Yoshi was crying in the stroller, so out of kindness, he picked Yoshi up to comfort him, that's when Yoshi vomited on his new jacket.....luckily it seems to be waterproof kind, so it should be easy to wash away that chicken congee smell......
2) It was probably the first kids clothes shopping experience for Nori on his own. With us being in the mall, of course these are not like Walmart pricing...and the on sale rack wasn't the first thing came to his mind either. So the consequence of me not bringing any backup clothes, the total bill came to $80 (US) for an emergency outfit......luckily there is great return policy here, so I can return the extra non-use clothes later on. But I must say Nori did good, because everything he bought, fit Yoshi perfectly.....
3) On our way to parking lot, Uncle Henry said to me: "So I guess u have something to write on the blog tonight....." haha, I actually wasn't even thinking about that at all. But good that he reminded me. Except, I didn't have the journalist mind set, otherwise, I would have brought out camera to capture the vomiting moment......(of course not!!!)
That's it. Yoshi is still sleeping very well. I shall post his photo with big big smile tomorrow. Good night.
P.s. (Sorry Uncle Henry & Kaori, we couldn't have our sit down dinner with cheesecake as planned........let's try again next week)
Check out Yoshi's new "emergency" outfit.....this was taken after we arrived home, he seemed to be fine, don't worry.
Having fun with Uncle Henry before we left for dinner
What's Yoshi starring at again this time??
His favorite cartoon- Doraemon.

Maybe because your mom took out the chicken meat from the chicken congee and you were mad .....or you wanted to share the congee with me
Yoshi wanted to join your dinner but his stomach was full of chicken congee, then............
