Poor Yoshi

Yes, Yoshi is sick again......Monday night, he started to have a fever, the first fever ever. Next morning, doctor said he had an ear infection. Perhaps this was caught from previous cold. After taking naps, he seemed to be much better. Luckily the pink color liquid doesn't seem to be bitter, he swallowed each time with slight resistance. He does have little stuffy nose right now, but hopefully he will be fully recovered before his big birthday bash next wk. Sleep well!

After the medicine, I always give him his favorite baby cookie as reward. Just like what grandma used to do when I was little.

Check out these 2 video clips, he is doing much better now, energy is back.

oh Yoshi, hope you will get well soon ! I forced myself to send the birthday gift to you today upon seeing your medicine (your Mom should have told you how lazy I am and can never send something on time !)

Take care !

sabrina, i had to lecture rafael again last night, for deliberately throwing all the lego blocks onto the floor and refusing to pick them up for me. if you know any good way to train these munchkins tidy up after themselves, please let me know!

HAHA Amy, totally got that picture of Rafael throwing things onto the floor...Yoshi started doing that too with his music book from highchair and it started to sound strange with the songs...

I was reading the "Dr.Spock's Baby & Child Care" book last night, came across the "1 yr old topic", title "Handle them matter-of-factly: Dropping and throwing things", here it said "....Around age of 1, babies learn to drop things on purpose. They solemnly lean over the side of the high chair and drop food on the floor, or toss toys, one after the other....then they cry because they haven't got them.....they are fascinated by a new skill & want to practice it all day long....If u pick up the dropped object, they realize it's a game that two can play and are more delighted. It's better not to get in the habit of picking up dropped toys right away. Put the babies on the floor or ground when they get in this dropping mood....try to scold a baby out of dropping things leads to nothing but frustration for the parent....."

Amy, now I do have a question back to you: If u know any good ways to train these munchkins....oh no... I mean "husbands" tidy up themselves or picking things up or putting things back to the original spot..., please let me know TOO. ^_^ (wonder if u will be able to find a book name Dr.Spock's Baby & Husband care?! HEE HEE..... (I know Nori & Mac are reading these.....)
