We can all help
Last night, me and Nori was watching a story reported on Dateline news. It was about a father (David) losing his child (Sean) 4 years ago when his wife took him away (abducted) back to her home country in Brazil. Since then, he is still fighting to get his son back. The story has lots of twist and turn. As a mother myself, I can't imagine losing Yoshi suddenly, and the pain of not being able to see him, that's should not be the struggle any parents should have to go thru. I can't sleep last night, can't stop thinking about this father and his son.
Click HERE (Scroll down to Jan 26 blog and see the video clip from MSNBC Dateline) to see a preview of the news report we saw last night. As to the story development, the mother passed away right after she gave birth to her 2nd child with another man in Brazil. And when everyone thought Sean will be given back to his biological father- David in US, the stepfather had filed custody on Sean, not allowing David to see him. So the fight is still going on....
I hope by posting this story here on our blog will help to spread the words, and if u have time, please go and sign the online petition. And may this story also bring us closer to our children.

i signed. wish david can win the battle soon.
btw i read your express blog. isn't it funny and at the same time mad to find that these little people could do everything to test your limits! today i had a 30-minute "cold war" with a weeping rafael because he wanted both chestnut cake and dvd at the same time though i offered him to choose either one.
and sometimes asking rafael to finish his meals can hurt our relationship a lot (because of all the nagging and frustration), and at times i just wish i could leave him at school for the meals! (he always finishes all the meals there) what an irresponsible thought:P
