Sick
Yoshi is still sick........fever is gone, but coughing is still bad. Running nose like crazy....I slept in his room these past 2 nights. With the medicine, at least it helps a little bit. Still waking up many times from coughing. I know he's not feeling well, his energy level has dropped very low, and he's fuzzy at times. All I could do is to wipe his nose and making sure he's drinking and eating. It took us 2.5 hrs struggle before nap time. Finally, he fell asleep on my shoulder. Holding a 28 LB little guy is not easy anymore. Doctor said his throat and lung are fine, no ear infection, just probably bad cold. No prescription being given for kids that young. So all I can give him is generic Tylenol medicine before he goes to bed and also to reduce fever yesterday. Hope he will recover very soon, poor guy.......

Hey my sister usually puts some "Vicks" on her sons' feet, (a thick layer + socks) before putting them to bed. A trick she learned from other mama. It works for them ...

rub his chest with some baby vicks, it makes his breathing much better. You can also put Saline drops (little noses) to help him to clear the running nose.

Thanks everyone. I got baby vicks too, I think he did ease his uncomfort a little bit. But he's still coughing and running nose...hope he will feel better soon. In the meantime, the only thing that ease his comfort seems to be his favorite cartoon and me holding him.
