Today is a L-O-N-G day......with Yoshi still on recovery stage, didn't want to take him out in the cold and cloudy weather. So we stayed home all day. Since 8:15a.m, there was only a 1.5 hr nap. So to keep this little guy occupied wasn't easy, especially he had few cranky moments.... but thanks to Rafael, I was inspired to let Yoshi try be a little chef. So he got to prepare his tea time snack on his own (almost).
Snack #1- steam sponge cake (sent by Obaa-chan from Japan, arigato!)
We did have lots of fun (& patience) preparing the tea time together. Wonder what's next? (that's easy and less mess (Thx Mackie family for your inspiration ^_^)

Yoshi may be the youngest chef in the world ...
Next time when he comes he can help cooking my lunch (Cup noodles) in my office :)
Auntie Anna
happy to see that yoshi enjoyed his first cooking experience! i think he has definitely inherited some of your cooking genes and will certainly make a good cook!
and apart from sharing the fun of cooking, i actually have another reason to involve rafael in our cooking. i've seen this jamie oliver programme about school dinners (http://www.jamieoliver.com/school-dinners) and in the programme, there are kids who don't even know how common vegetables and fruits look like! i really don't want rafael to be such an ignorant kid and i think it's just so important to show him where food comes from.
we need to have a cooking workshop with the kids next time you visit hk! i think it will be sooooooooooo fun!
re your express blog, what a coincidence, i found the etsy website recently too! we need to share these artsy project info! :)
